Description

This is an interpretive tour of The Crossings Preserve, located north of Lake Travis above Cypress Creek (a part of the Balcones Canyonlands Preserve. Enjoy a great spring hike in the woods that surround this destination hotel and spa. Considerations:

Sturdy footgear is recommended. Drinking water and other concessions are not available so please plan to bring your own. Sun block and hats are recommended. Please feel free to bring binoculars and/or photographic cameras. No pets are permitted within the preserve.

The Crossings facilities are surrounded by a 175-acre preserve, a unique natural area that is home to the golden-cheeked warbler and a great variety of other birds and wildlife managed by Travis County Natural Resource Staff.
